I've got a Savox 1256tg servo in my 1.9 scaler and it has started acting very strange. I'm running a Castle BEC (set at 7v due to all of my LEDs/winch) that is running the RX. The powertrain is a MMP with a ROC412 on 3S. The winch controller is a Heyok 2 pos controller. At first, after about 10-15 minutes of running the steering would freeze up and glitch but the throttle and all still worked. Then it got to the point that as soon as it had power it would make my winch draw in and out, my LEDs were flickering and the ESC would reset. I unplugged it and the winch stopped tweeking, LEDs stopped flickering, basically all was fine. So I took the servo out and installed a Hitec 5955 and all of the problems were gone. I opened up the case and I can't see any issues. I figured it may have gotten wet in the past so it's been laying out (opened up) on my bench for the past week. It's never been fully submerged since I bought it new over a year ago. My questions are:

Did I fry the servo somehow?
Is there a fix for it or is it trash?
Is there something else I'm missing?

I had the same servo that seemed to draw huge amounts of power, enough to kill a CC BEC.

It could be that it's causing your BEC or your RX to overheat due to the amp draw.
