So I have a tekin rx8 gen2, which I updated to the 272 firmware so I can have adjustable drag brake from the 3rd channel on my transmitter. Well the adjustable drag brake works great, my issue is since I updated the esc, it's rougher on start up. Right now I'm running a 3100kv sensorless motor, which I'm only using for playing in the snow. I had decent low end control untill I did the update(with the same sensorless motor). Played with several settings, throttle frequency, throttle minimum, torque level, even changed the brake settings. Tried timing levels too. Currently have a nice throttle curve too. There's got to be something missing, and I'm hoping someone here knows what it is. I haven't tried my sensored motors on it yet, I believe it won't have this issue with one of those. It's not a big deal, I'll be going back to sensored once it stops snowing. But it would be nice to know what it is that is causing this.
