i recently have been workin on gettin my brother a scaler and he like them stupid fords so we decided to go with a f350. we started out with a diaz chassis
highlift axles with rear rcp lockouts, and front rcp high clearence steering knuckles
dinky link axle truss front and rear
rc4wd heavy duty r2 trans
axial beadlocks with rc4wd rok lox
all links were home made using 8/32 all thread sleeved with 1/4 inch stainless tubeing and rod ends are some beefy revo rod ends
hitec 5645 steering servo
gonna try get this thing waterproof
im just using an old chepie esc from futaba that i had lieing around
we made the rear cage section out of 3/16 brakeline mig tacked together, and then i will braze all the joints and clean them up. still got some work to do on it yet like paint, the flat panels on the bed re oiling the shocks, which by the way are scx10 shocks, the back shocks have ax10 shock shafts to limit up travel and provide a little more droop. wel enough babble heres the few pics i have taken so far please lmk what you think

Small update, got it running and took it out for a spin!! I just got some turnegy nano tech 2200 25c50c burst batteries and I couldn't be more pleased with them. I took a few pictures today. The truck actually performed better than I thought it would. I may make a few changes on it, lengthen
the front links and stick the wheels out a little.
Here's a couple pictures I took today

A very small update I media blasted the chrome off the grill and painted it black, gonna be workin on some paneling for the bed, not sure if I wanna make it out of styrene or thin sheet aluminum.
Here's a picture of the grill. And sorry the updates on this truck is gonna small updates at a time due to it not being mine and my brother doesn't get alot of time to do work on it.
Media blasted, just took the chrome off very nicely and didn't remove any of the plastic

So I been playin with this a little. Anyway I'm running those junfac carbon steel shafts and the pins in them SUCK!! They break soo easy! So I ordered a set of the aftermarket pins from the vendors section. I have to say, they just look better. But well see how they work! If they last more than 3 trips out their better!
Here they are

Today I started to update thisbtruck, at first me and my brother just slapped this thing together as fast as we could buuut I'm very unpleased with it, for one, the link setup is horible, and the flatbed is just crap, put together in 2 hours and very poorly done, so I decided to tear it down amd redo the link setup and also the bed. Today I took it all apart amd bent the ftam so it gets wider at the center back kinda like a bruiser frame. I also made up a "chino" type skidplate but for linked front and rear. I was able to save the sliders, which I will add to and also the main hoop around the cab, I also bent it to fit the contour of the cab. No pics of that though
here's the newly bent frame

Nicely done"thumbsup"

Thanks

Update*
last night I redid all the links and I am more pleased, I don't think I have a picture of the old setup but I basically just tried to use any hole that was in the chassis to mount them and I had some super short links due to that, I'm talkin maybe just over an inch long eye to eye, so I wasn't having that.
Last night I made all new links using the basic method of 8/32 allthread and revo rodends, when I get a chance to go to the hobby store I'll pick up some stainless tube to sleeve it with.
The links are not alot more paralell to each other and nicely triangulated, and there is no side to side movemennt either
