Rock Racing coming to Mid Michigan!

Now that the dirt track is complete, plans are to start the rock racing course. Plans are to have it completed mid Sept. (I know its late in the season, but late is better then never "thumbsup")

Goal is to have it designed for 2.2 crawlers to do a time attack style race. It will be a laid out track, with different hazzards you will have to tackle. (Logs, rocks, etc.

I`m sorry, I didn`t mean for this to turn into a BIG discission on where "MID-Michigan" is actually located.. Its just that when I here someone say something about Mid-Michigan, I think that someone is actually going to do something close to home....

I have lived in the Lansing area all my life and for me, Lansing and the surrounding areas have always been the Mid-Michigan area. I would consider Flint, Saginaw, Midland, and the bay counties to be eastern Michigan, just like I would consider Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo to be in western Michigan. I guess I am wrong though,,,,

so whens this rock racing happening im down for some rock racing, infact a group of guys i use to hang out with in houston when i was down there for school started a r/c rock racing and since i left that which i shouldnt have i miss doing that. so im down. my dad would like to come also cuz hes interested in it. so just let me know and we'll be there.

So your wife caught the crawling bug being out in the Nationals?

Yeah still trying to figure out what I am going to do. Been actually running the scorpion quite a bit lately, with all the rain this last weekend we were doing some garage crawling haha.

Torn on how to set this thing up, as I am probably going to post up on craigslist looking for free broken concrete, rocks, bricks etc to build it. Can't spend any cash on it since I now only have a part time job, have to save as much coin as I can.

Would love to build something that was indoors since winter is coming though.
