After doing some night crawling this past week (hadn't done it in ages) I figured some rock lights would help me out a lot since there are no lights what so ever at the crawling course at our RC race track. I started with a Pro-Line 2" light bar on the front bumper, then I made my own 5mm headlights and 3mm tail lights. They are powered from direct battery power via a switch.

Pics from the night crawl.

After that, I knew I need some rock lights to help me see where I was putting my tires. I made my own from 5mm LED diodes ( with resistors ), 2 lights per wheel well. I think they should do the job. The rock lights are also direct powered from the battery and on their own switch. Pics were on 2s. I can run this setup on 3s as well.

Nice work. I use LITLED for all my lights. His prices are reasonable and he will make you anything you want. His Rich lights plug directly into the balance port in the battery.

Nice! I try to make most of my own stuff when I can. I have tons of LED's resistors and wiring for doing my RC tank stuff. I made all of the LED assemblies on the truck except for the light bar, that's from Pro-Line.
