I am pretty sure this is the same rig I have on my profile photo. I had this and a box of stock parts, so I cleaned everything and put it back together with as many stock parts I had on-hand, down to the Phillips Head screws. The only things that are not OEM are the wheels (ProLine 8 Shooters perhaps, they had the black bead lock rings and what seemed like a million screws), the driveshafts are generic steel, and the stick battery tray is a NOS carbon fiber from Xtreme Racing.

I looked through the pile and I have all sorts of period-correct hop-ups like the electronics relocation tray, axle battery trays, RC4WD R2 Dig transmission, another dig transmission, and some original HB Rovers w/o any cracks, and I might get some silicone inserts and just mount them up to this chassis.

Any ideas on what to do with this thing? Sell it? Shelve it?

Oh that thing is sweet, I love it! I'd keep it, they're getting harder to find and they're still pretty good crawlers (and imo they look cool too). Super clean.

I'd' build it back to stock and display it on a shelf or run it alongside my other rigs to prove to myself how far we've come.
