Reef's 99 Micro Servo for Dig - fitment?

My Spektrum SX107 micro dig servo is nearing End Of Life in my Capra, and I'm contemplating upgrading to a Reef's 99 Micro servo. Is the Reef's 99 Micro a direct drop-in replacement? It looks a little larger than the SX107. I have heard that they recommend you get the accompanying Reef's Micro Servo Horn as well. I will be installing the SSD aluminum dig servo mount at the same time.

Can anyone report from personal experience how they like the Reefs 99 Micro Servo? Does it work well with a 3-position dig setting? I use a Spektrum DX5C radio.

Thanks.

I have one, but didn't realize I needed to get the 25t micro horn. It arrived yesterday and will get put in sometime this week. It seems to fit on the SSD mount but I can't confirm at this time. I'll know in a few days.

Any updates on the fitment of the Reef's 99 on the SSD dig mounts? I was planning on both upgrades as the anemic Spektrum servo and flimsy, stock dig mounts were causing me some issues the other day.

I haven't installed it due to changing out to a Holmes V3, Mamba Micro X (should be here on Thursday) and the 99.

Sorry for not updating this, yes a 99 fits in the SSD mount (and should in the original). You'll need a Reef's servo arm and drill it out to accept the larger hardware.

1) Are you actually using one of these in your Capra?
2) What's the tooth count for the horn? Standard, or mini (meaning the horn)?
3) How long have you had it, and how's it holding up?

Honestly, this sounds like a better option than the Reef's. Although I've read many good things about Reef's servos, I've also read quite a few bad things, and even worse in regards to the customer service

Its exactly the same servo! 8)

I don't see that as a bad thing...but, how good/bad is AGF's customer service?

Probably as good/bad as Reefsrc ...after all they have to wait for AGFrc to respond when something goes wrong with that servo.;-)
