Alright so I had my front apart putting new belts on the axle and the "servo" and noticed that the front motor is above the axle. So off to work I went with the dremel on the rear
cut about 1 1/2" maybe alittle more off. havent measured it yet

then were I mounted the motor. Cut a slot through the housing where the belt need to go through. Then I tensioned the belt how I wanted it and mounted the motor

then just using some tin that I had went ahead and closed off that huge gap I just cut in the housing

Then I closed in the motor to make it look alittle cleaner

still need to finish up the wiring (just twisted the ends together last night to test it) and do alittle more tin work to finish things off. Its nice being able to drive straight up curbs and stuff now, and actually having the back tires hit first instead of the axle

i used some of that flexy wire tubing stuff (don't know the real name of it) on mine, no problems so far

I think you're talking about split loom?

Here is how I did mine. Drilled a hole above the Al. plate and slipped a little rubber grommet in, then fed the wires through and drilled a hole right behind the motor. I just wrapped the wires in electrical tape. Also used the other bracket from the rear shock mount for my motor mount. Works great!

if you drill in the right place you can screw a bracket into the screw holes thats already there and then i clamped it to that and put jb weld for extra support but you proly dont need that
