Back in March Tom at RC4WD asked me to build up a Trail Finder 2 that would be featured on Stacey David's Gearz. Needless to say, I was stoked.

This truck was to be built up with some of the hop-up parts and scale accessories RC4WD has to offer. It was fun being able to work with all the upgrades in one build.

Here are a couple of pictures of the build.

The show aired last night. Here's a clip for those that didn't see the segment.

First off, great looking truck. I sat down to watch the show then some UN-announced company stopped bye so I missed the segment. Thanks for posting the link. Now tell me about the wheels, they make the trucks paint really POP. Thank you.

Holy bejeeeezus that last picture looks real! Excellent job definitely the best TF2 I've seen so far.

Thanks! The wheels are RC4WD 1.7 stamped steel wheels with their 1.7 IROKS. Probably my favorite looking wheel and tire combo at the moment.

Thanks!
Looks great!
Thank you.
how did you make the inner fenders?it all looks AMAZING!!!
They are just made from a few pieces of styrene. To make the curved part I just rolled it in my hands for a bit so it would keep the shape.

Here are a few more pictures of the truck with my TF2.

Awesome build. So does Stacey get to keep the TF2?

Those wheels are amazing. Hope they keep making 1.7 wheels and tires.

That was an awesome truck build!

I managed to catch the show a few seconds before he started talking about scale.
