Rc ttc

On a whim I called the only person in the montpelier/worchester area who plays with toy trucks that I know of, Doug Souil (I'm sorry I can't spell his last name).

He informed me that the TTC is indeed next weekend at hubbard park in montpelier with drivers signups between 9:30 and 10AM.

I'll be there.

If I have time I want to come watch this. Now I just need to find Hubbard park if I get time.

A lot of info kicking around on Instagram.

Damn ^^ yeah I will be going. Won't be able to stay the whole day though. First real "wheelin" I've done with the scx10. Pretty excited to say the least

if you get to the round about in montpelier, go up spring street across elm and continue on spring when it turns right take your first left (parkway ave) and keep going up. go past old shelter rd amd there should be signs and banners for the event.

Jus, you going to want to get off I89 exit 8 and then head straight through two traffic lights. At the third traffif take a left onto main street, immediately over a bridge and past a Shaws grocery store on the left. Go straight through one traffic light and at the roundabout take the second exit (about 270* around)and then go straight across from the stop sign. At the end of the street you should see some signs for either the event, or hubbard park itself. Pretty much hiding on a hill behind the state house.

I haven't been up there in years. Didn't even really think there was decent terrain up there.

meatmonkey you going to this?? Excited to put faces to names here. This will be my first real outing with the rig!

Alright so who made it today? Meatmonkey and I dominated in both classes. :)

It was an awesome day. Nice to see so many Vermonters show up. Can't believe RCC didn't really have a strong presence though. That we know of anyway.

Yeah, awesome day in the park. Too bad they wouldn't let us play in the water.

I too was surprised at the number of Vermonters who came out to play with toy trucks.

Already spent won gift certificates at CKRC for some MIPs and some class 1 legal RC4wd Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ's. Pretty schweet getting schwag for being good at playing with toy trucks.

Can't wait for the next event, hopefully at Mt Ascutney before the leaves fall.

And we should totally go a comp at the dam on Rt 12 on horn of the moon road. I'd personally be willing to go over there and mark out gates/courses. Only issue is that it's not what I would consider "beginner friendly" terrain.

Justin here. Pretty sure I remember you, Ben. Though I am terrible with names so no promises. I met too many people yesterday. :lmao: After a couple more days worth of crawling I'll have a better idea who everyone is. :ror:

Ohh I hear ya. Was the 2nd to last in the 1.9 class with a green honcho with the cut down cage. The 1:1 was te Chevy diesel pickup next to your guys table.

Shit, Sorry I missed this! I would have loved to meet up, unfortunately I had my wife's 20 year high school reunion on Saturday...

802coma,
What's the instagram feed you mentioned earlier?

The two guys that doing the events are @vermont_scale_rc (Trevor) and @useayota (greg) both are great guys.
