RC Switch in a TRX4-Sport

Good morning Ladies and Gents,

I have been a proud owner of an amazing TRX4-Sport, love this rig. I have a question for you. My ESC is still stock and I've added the LED light bar that's recommended for the Sport with the expedition rack along with the recommended 8028 power supply/transformer. I'm using an RC Switch I bought from amazon https://www.amazon.com/Controlled-R...ocphy=9015602&hvtargid=pla-636143604660&psc=1. I connected one end of the switch to the red connector on the ESC and the other end of the RC switch to the RED connector on the TRA8028 and then connected to the receiver. The switch is being operated on CH4 by my 4PLS and my R304SB receiver. Everything was working as it should be. I was running the rig around the house at full speed and the RC switch failed. This switch is rated for 5amps and the only thing connected was the LED light bar. Did I connect this incorrectly? https://photos.app.goo.gl/PruHuJN7A2EvsynBA

Maybe I just got a bad switch?

Thanks,

John

Hard to tell from your pic how it's hooked up but I use the same switch.

You have two leads that are only red/black wires, one set to LEDs, the other to your power source, mine is hooked up to balance lead on 3s battery for example. The remaining red/black/white lead is plugged into the ESC.
