Hello!

I have an absolutely stock SCX10.1 kit.

I have broke the upper 3rd front suspension link mount on the axle (the bolt in the axle just goes through the hole).

Please advise how to solve the issue:
- buy new plastic part
- use the leftover part from the kit to go 4 link front and buy the links instead the Y-shaped stock one
- buy aftermarket aluminium upgrade links/servo mount (again 3 or 4 links to go?)
- buy alu truss for the axle with the 3 or 4 link mount (which one?)
- repair with stock parts and sell the chassis to buy SCX10.2

I love the truck, huge fun, but seeing the SCX10.2 benefits really questions the upgrade rout...

And another question related to steering angle 1mk vs 2 mk - if I use all the upgrades for SCX10.1 to increase steering angle, will it be at least on par with SCX10.2 45 degrees?

ditch the crappy Y connector, 4 link the front and back , have fun enjoying the new set up. alot cheaper than buying a new rig.

The SSD pro steering kit will give you way more steering than stock. You will need to upgrade the dog bones to universals, if you haven't already done so.

A better and cheaper way is to do the XR mod with the XR universals, RcBros tubes with VP wraith knuckles and C's. Very reliable mod that will give you the steering your looking for.
