Yes we run tc on turf up here in my part of the woods. We are currently running the Schumacher rally tires. They hook up pretty good. Sometimes we use the mini spike on the rear. These are all 26mm,low sidewall tires.

My question is to anyone that may race touring car or rally on turf what are you guys running for tires or maybe you have some ideas that i could try to step up my game?

thanks!

Try Fastrax (or Ripmax) Rally Blocks. They work quite well for me, however, I have never tried Schumacher tires, so hard to compare them...

They look like the Tamiya Rally block. Also look heavy. You are racing on turf also?

You're right, my bad, english is not my primary language, and I though that 'turf' translates to something else than it really does.

So the answer is no, we don't race on turf. However, most people around me really likes the Fastrax tire (as it is much better than Tamiya), so they are cutting the blocks to get tire which is closer to those Schumachers. Basically one that better clears sand/dirt than the stock rally block. Fastrax was selling rally pins tire tire that would be probably good (Fastrax Rally Pin Blue Tyre Set (4) w/moulded Inserts), but it is unforunately out of stock for some time. There was ARP, producing suitable tires as well, but they seem to be out of business. So you might be stuck with Schumachers ;-).

This should give you some info ;-).

Schumacher Rally Tire seems to be similar to the HPI Rally tire (so that's one tire you can try). However, pins definitely provide more traction, if you need it (as you most likely already know). I haven't seen Schumacher Mini Pins tire, but looking at pictures, pins on VR Tyres I'm using seem to be longer (but it is really just a guess).
