Question about Chattering Universal Axle Shafts

OK so after buying my SCX10 II I decided to go all in and change everything under the chassis. New Axle housings, axle shafts, C hubs, knuckles, shocks and links. I got it all together and found that when I turn too far to the right or left the rig starts bucking like crazy. First thing I did was checked to see if anything was rubbing. I can turn it far enough to hit the links, but the problems start before that. Nothing is touching the wheels when they start chattering. I found some information on the forum about the drive shafts not being aligned correctly so I aligned them and that definitely made normal running smoother, but didn't help the turning radius. I ended up setting up my radio so it didn't go too far, but it is about the same radius I was getting with my dog bones and the stops on the original links. I know this was long, but any ideas?

Your universals are being pushed past their limit, causing them to bind. Set your endpoints on your transmitter. Lay the truck on its back, turn the wheels all the way to one side, give it a little throttle (until it starts chattering) & slowly turn the end point adjustment down until it just stops chattering. Turn the wheels the other way & repeat.
 
Thanks guys, I did set my radio end stops, I just thought the Universals would have more turn than the dog bones. I mean obviously they are there for durability and strength. I was just a bit surprised. Thanks for welcoming me.
 
I'd wondered about that too.
I was expecting more out of the CVDs, but did high steer knuckles at the same time so not really sure how much I gained. Mine is currently running "minimal" chatter... but should probably limit it out entirely. Turning diameter did go from 80.5 inches to 67 inches, so they seemed to help SOME. OD gears are next on the install list.

I knew I wouldn't get full use out of doing an XR mod on something with a scale frame, body, and links that aren't REALLY bent... but hoped the CVDs would give more than they are. I kind of wish I'd just gone with counter sunk knuckle screws and maybe a bent steering link. I guess the high steer knuckles should help with the CMS link angles.
