Here it is, the Official Thread for QUARREL in the QUARRY.​

This is a FREE event!
Everyone welcome and invited!

This will take Place at:

Oakes Quarry Park
4479 E Xenia Dr
Fairborn, OH 45324

(The same location Battle Grounds Championship is held)

2.2 Pro Class
2.2s Class
1.9 Class
Super Class
Class 2 Scale

This event will be a 3 day event starting on Friday October 16, 2015 and running through Sunday October 18, 2015.

We have a limited block of rooms here, so book them quick. The rooms range from doubles, to handicapped, to King suites and the group rate is $89.95/night for Friday and Saturday. First come first serve.

Other Hotels in the Area

There are a number of good hotels about 4 miles South of the park. If you do not wish to stay at the Baymont, just search for hotels near Fairborn, Ohio.

Camping

There is John Bryan State Park, about 15 minutes from the park....Central District - John Bryan - Home
There is Buck Creek State Park, about 25 minutes from the park....West Central District - Buck Creek - Home.

Competition Details

Class Details
2.2 Pro
We will run 5 - 5 minute courses with 10 Gates Plus bonuses. Standard USRCCA comp rules apply. Judging will be Team Format based and each team will be responsible for managing their course scoring, judging and building.
The Final Course will include the top 5 drivers from the normal courses and will have a surprise format for this competition.*

Class 2 Scale
We will run 3 - 8 minute courses with 10 Gates. Standard SORCCA scale class rules and judging apply. Courses will have a Course Leader who is responsible for judges, scoring and course maintenance.

I'm gonna do my best to make it out for 2.2pro. I don't think I'll be able to stay for 2.2s.
 
Put me down for 2.2 pro, 2.2 s, 1.9 mini, class 2 trail, and i might even get my super running too!

Will my Losi worm axle rigs be legal in the C2 scale classes?

Sorrca allows them, but Trail competition rules do not. Approved trail vehicles are basically Axial, RC4WD etc...
