Pulling my sawback out of mothballs

Yes!!! Awesome trucks.
It's been a while since I had mine out as well. The only free mod I can think of is putting the tierod up on top of the knuckles.

Mounting the servo on the chassis (can be done with the included axle servo mount, mounted on the inside of one of the frame rails).
Low cost / parts bin: Do it yourself anti axle wrap bars (threaded rod and ball ends, preferrably sleeved in brake line)
Basic bumpers and sliders are easy to make given a bit of steel and tools - flat bumpers definitely work for the old jeep look.

This lot didn't cost anything, either stuff lying around in my shed or some offcuts from work.. Easy to do, use the original rails as a guide for drilling. If I ever get round to it I want to reverse the front springs so the shackles are at the back out of the way...
So, its a spring under belly dragger and its belly was made from 1/8th steel plate... Sounds awesome when hitting rocks!! Very capable and I really need to give it some love and use it again...
