I am new to this forum but been a RC hobbyist for couple of years now. My first purchase RC truck is of course the legendary scx10 honcho. After a year, I decided to experiment. Here is what I did to it:
2.2 Tires
Puller Pro BL 540 3500kv water proof brushless motor from holmes hobbies
TrailMaster Pro ESC water proof from holmes hobbies
Robinson gear set: 15t pinion gear and 56t spur gear
Pro-lin dual LED lights
Still running 2S batteries.
Not sure I like these tires but seriously considering Wraith Axles, shocks and body lift at this point with all that power I have now. It makes my Wraith Spyder feel too slow on any terrain.
