I didn't see anywhere for people to post up public areas they like to crawl, so I propose we do it here! I see a lot of posts in different sections that are all the same "looking for place to crawl"? "Where can I crawl in (fill in the blank) area"?

For clarification, I'm not suggesting posting up your backyard course at home. Specifically, I'm suggesting people post up PUBLIC spots they like to crawl; places that don't cost money to use, to park at, and don't require a lifted truck to access... Be specific in the location. Don't say for example, "Allentown, by the big rock, next to the vacant store". Describe the location in a way that anybody could easily find using Google Maps.

Here are my current 2 favorite places to crawl so far:

-Around the Little Lehigh river / creek... Park at the fish hatchery, and run around Fish Hatchery Rd., between S Cedar Crest and Oxford Dr. *Great location for pictures*

-Across the street from the Emmaus library, along the Williams Street Recreation area. There is a dry narrow creek bed that is a few hundred yards long. Lots of rocks. Some areas easy, some very challenging with a 1.9 tire. Picking the right line is important!

Rimrock, Bent Run, Jacob's Falls all in the Allegheny National Forest. Each has its own mapped parking area so no additional directions really necessary once you have an ANF map.

These are not right in the Lehigh Valley, but close enough.

St Peters Village; across from post office

Ringing Rocks; just google for directions. It is close to NJ border.

These are the go to that EPA Crawlers uses which are close to the Valley.

Oh, sorry, I missed the Lehigh Valley part of the topic title, I assumed all of PA since it's in the PA section.

Carry on.

I've been in that little spot near the library, good stuff. Also along the first bed going up the hill on 2nd street, the is a creek bed at the bottom of the hill at the park behind Perkins on Lehigh street, Lehigh uplands or called walking purchase park up behind st Luke's in fountain hill off constitution drive, tons of trails on top of the hill near Lehigh, trails at bear creek, although I guess you need some pass thing now. I'm sure I know if more, just need to think about them. I like to spend a lot of my time on the Appalachian trail, up near the entrance to blue mountain ski area is one of my favorites, also the climb from rte 145 near 895 up the mountain also.
