I didn't see anywhere for people to post up public areas they like to crawl, so I propose we do it here! I see a lot of posts in different sections that are all the same "looking for place to crawl"? "Where can I crawl in (fill in the blank) area"?
For clarification, I'm not suggesting posting up your backyard course at home. Specifically, I'm suggesting people post up PUBLIC spots they like to crawl; places that don't cost money to use, to park at, and don't require a lifted truck to access... Be specific in the location. Don't say for example, "Allentown, by the big rock, next to the vacant store". Describe the location in a way that anybody could easily find using Google Maps.
Here are my current 2 favorite places to crawl so far:
-Around the Little Lehigh river / creek... Park at the fish hatchery, and run around Fish Hatchery Rd., between S Cedar Crest and Oxford Dr. *Great location for pictures*
-Across the street from the Emmaus library, along the Williams Street Recreation area. There is a dry narrow creek bed that is a few hundred yards long. Lots of rocks. Some areas easy, some very challenging with a 1.9 tire. Picking the right line is important!
