Hey Everyone!

I'm so happy to be back! I've been out of touch for the past 5 years or so. Back in 2016, I quit my job and started my own business. Everything was going great... then came Covid. I cried as I watched everything vanish overnight. To this day, I still haven't received a penny of government small business assistance. :x:x:x Thankfully, I'm smiling now as business has come back full throttle, and I had a stellar year!

What a freakin' rollercoaster! :lmao::shock::lmao::shock:

Nothing you can do but sit back, smile, and move on. And that brings me to my next problem. A problem that I am very, very happy to have. Since I had such a great year, the RC gods have been good to me. I have a few projects that I've gathered over the last month and I need some help choosing what to start next.

Most of them are mini/micros but a few of them are bigger. I posted this question here because I feel most comfortable in the mini/micro crowd. I think the hobbyists here are a little more open minded and friendly.

Anyway... here we go.

What should my next build be?
1. Orlandoo Hunter D110 full kit with sound
2. Orlandoo Hunter Pajero full kit with sound
3. Orlandoo Hunter new Black Series Camper Trailer
4. X-Row Kuro King kit (should be here next week)
5. SCX24 Micro Shark Type T Conversion Kit (should be here next week)
6. RocHobby 1/6 Jeep Willys Conversion to Civilian with upgrades
7. Capo Sixer1 1/6 scale Jimny (most of it will be here next week)

Also, I'm ready to start threads for a few other projects that I've been working on over the last few years but haven't posted anything. Which of the below projects should I post first?

SCX24 based Jeep CJ7 Golden Hawk https://youtu.be/JkDaWzvJvLM
or
SCX24 based Mecedes-Benz G500 https://youtu.be/Wlisp402HyI

Yeah, that will probably be my next thread for already built kits. I love that Jeep! I got lucky and found two more of the same kits. I’m going to try and make a mold so I can pour more bodies.

Still time to vote!

Shapeways order status says one piece left to print before the Micro Shark is shipped. That took a lot longer than I expected.

Kuro King tracking says en route to country of destination.

Capo Sixer1 says label printed awaiting package…

All the other projects are here in a box. Waiting. Patiently…

Well, there’s still time left. It’ll be nice to see what will be your next project. I have an scx, but no hesitation-voted for the kuro king👍

...only the Kuro King boasts this

I actually know little of the micro-world. Just recently picked up a couple scx24's for my kid and I. Plan to upgrade enough to optimize its performance.

Look forward to seeing what comes of what you end up with

I hope you have fun with your new trucks. I'll let you in on a little secret. You want as much weight as possible, and as LOW as possible. You don't need to spend $$ buying brass parts. Just put about 30-40 grams off BBs (like the kind that go in a BB gun) into the tires. As the tires turn, gravity keeps the BBs at the bottom. You can't get lower than the bottom of a tire!"thumbsup"

Cheap, easy, and adds a ton of performance. It's the first thing I do to every Micro truck. Sometimes, it's the only thing I do. You can check out my videos to see how they perform.

UPDATES

MicroShark - Shapeways is still "in production" and hasn't shipped yet. They have been stuck at this point for the last 4 days. Just a left fender to print.

Kuro King - is still on its way... somewhere over the ocean right now but I'm betting it beats the MicroShark

Capo Sixer1 - I've received the truck and most of the upgrades.

The rest of the projects are just sitting here. The Kuro King or MicroShark better arrive soon or I'm going to get started on something else

That is an interesting and creative idea. Will have to try it out

Ok, the Poll is closed! It looks like the MicroShark won not only the vote, but it also beat the Kuro King in shipping.

I'll be posting a thread on the rebuild of my G500, then I'll start the MicroShark build:roll:"thumbsup"

Hopefully, the Kuro King will be here soon. When it arrives, I'll at least get that thread started with an unboxing video.
