parts compatability with scx10

hey guys i just got an scx10 2, i also have a first gen scx10 and was just wondering what the parts compatabilty was like between the 2 as i have quite a few aluminium upgrades on the scx10.

Mainly thinking chassis braces and shock towers.

Anyone know if shock tower braces are compatible between both? I see them listed online for the SCX10, but not the SCX10.2.

what exactly is the difference between the two? will other accessories from the scx10 work on the scx10.2 such as bumpers and sliders etc. frame is the same correct?

The version 2 frame seems to have more mounting holes.

Shock towers are different. The front on the 10.2 has the panhard mount built in. Links are different, driveshafts are different lengths, all components of the axles are completely different, and the kit 10.2 has a completely different transmission as well.

Tires, wheels, bumpers, rear chassis brace, electronics, bodies, and shocks will all fit either scx10 or 10.2. The RTR transmission and any upgrades for the RTR transmission (XJ transmission at least) will also fit either one.
