This will be more of a winter build but I will slowly be tinkering on it from here on out. I started with and scx frame. Then I attached an original ax10 frame to it. To get the drop I need. I will be running wraith axles and a scx trans. I'm torn if I want to narrow tmaxx tires or run a set of 2.2 mud bashers.
New body update.

I got my mud Basher tires mounted. And I have decided I'm going good to run a stock yeti vanguard system on 3s. That should give me enough power. I'm going to run stock ring and pinion for now. Once I blow those up. I will probably go OD front and I'm undecided on either stock gearing or UD for the rear. But I will cross that bridge in time.

Looking good! I have seen the tires in action and they work great!

I can't wait to try them. "thumbsup" I'm hoping to have it drive-able in a few days. Then I can work on protecting everything. I'm going to try and build a mud/water resistant area under the hood to hold all the electronics just to help keep things cleaner.

I have changed directions with the body. I have switched to an original ax10 body. I think its a perfect fit.

I just picked this up for gearing. I will be running 58/12 combo. Should work out pretty good. It's a little lower gearing then I'm running now.

What wheelbase are you running?

Cool looking build.

Wes
Honestly I have no idea. But if I was to guess I would say between 12 and 13 inches leaning towards the 13in side.

Quick update on my mega truck. I have been beating it for a bit now. (I have a steam I will be taking it up soon.) It been holding up pretty good. Except I just blew up my second long side dog bone. 3s might have something to do with it. [emoji48] I will be throwing a set of universals in soon. Hopefully that solves my problem. It will be hopefully going under the knife soon for a few updates and proper link geometry.

Are you running the stock foams? My set showed up last week, and they seem pretty soft for the weight I plan to run...somewhere around 12lbs.

This is my first shot at a mega truck so I'm pretty much winging it.

Yep I'm running stock foams with a sealed tire. They don't seem to fold for me. But I mostly play in mud, water and snow with it. But my truck is super light.
