New SSD Element parts!

I definitely like the IFS gear box...but, the axles would both be a hard 'pass' for me - I REALLY dislike 3-piece plastic axle housings, as they increase the number of "weak points", thus increasing the possibility (probability?) of damage. Getting back to the IFS gear box, I just might have to get one (haven't yet weighed my GK to determine front-rear weight bias).

Thanks for posting!!! Now to find the ifs gearbox!!!

I'm curious as to why the axle design. Main pumpkin is plastic with brass third member and aluminum tubes.... though, it gives an engineer failure point instead of having to replace the entire axle when you snap a tube.

Sweet, love those weighted axle housings. Their Pro44's are great, I would expect these are of equal quality. Will likely check these put at some point. Would be curious to see the diamond pumpkins next to stock for a size comparison

SSD RC products typically appear at RPP Hobby or Amain Hobbies shortly after announcement on the mfg site. SSD has done separate axle and diff housings before.

Agreed, though I may wait a bit for the axles, as I have all sorts of armoring and stiffening parts for the stock axles right now to be installed. Most won't work on the other style.

Nice! Glad to see the Enduro axles get a little love.

Compatible with a scx10 gears....hmm. Interesting.

Omg. So I'm gonna have to get these for the KR too. Just keep taking my money, SSD.
I'm not sure if these will go on my actual KR or the printed hard body build I've started on that will use the element ifs rig. Only complaint here, which there was a smaller option. Printed wheels aren't bad but doubt they'll take much abuse.

I'd like to see these as a full-size wheel...say, 17x7, +38mm offset, with 5/114.3mm bolt pattern. [emoji16]

I think there are likely a few manufacturers making these in full size, though not likely as narrow as 7”. I think 8” is a typical width. Any TRD Toyota wheel seems to get knocked off en masse

For the RAV4, the 'standard' width is 6.5" (+35mm offset w/ 225/65R17 tires)...but, with a 1.5-2" lift, one can fit (supposedly) up to 245/75R17 on 17x7 +38mm offset. I'm not wanting to go so "aggressive"...I'm thinking more along the lines of 235/70R17 Toyo Open Country A/T III on 17x7 +38mm offset (current tire is Open Country A38).

My 2021 tacoma with 16s is 7 wide. Your right in 17s are 8 and that's as low as they go.

On a Tacoma, probably true...but, 8" is NOT as 'narrow' as 17" wheels come, be it Toyota, any other manufacturer, or aftermarket wheels. Again, the stock wheels on a RAV4 are 17x6.5...and, there are LOTS of 17x7 wheels available.

For the tacoma/4runner trd pro wheels they don't offer narrower, something way older maybe but not anything from 3rd/5th gen (think that actually includes 2nd gen taco and 3rd/4th gen 4runner but not 100% sure and not in this TRD style).

Now say steel wheels, smaller vehicles, older vehicles, ya can find narrower. But modern TRD pro wheels like 1:1 version of these, nope.
