RC4WD released a new lexan Tacoma body. The details don't look that great IMO. I think the Honcho with Knight Customs parts look a bit better.

The good news is its a new licensing partnership so we might see more new Toyota bodies in the future.

If that's the stock TF2 offset that body is too narrow. It's a TuRD anyway so I'm not really interested, but this is one of the better looking Toyotas.

Funny how the teaser photo had it looking like a Chevy.

Mine is getting chopped up and wrapped around a Mattzilla chassis Lue is building me. I was going to use a Proline SR5 but this will look better with detailed grill and accessories.

I'm not a Tacoma fan but its always nice to see a new body thats not a Jeep Wrangler.

saw this teased on facebook yesterday. i even checked the "news" section on the rc4wd website this morning and... nothing. huh. but there it is!
my son has been wanting a taco since i got my yeti a couple years ago. this is too long for his barrage but maybe he can graduate to a used SCX10 someday...

looks okay to me. my girlfriend in high school had one just like this (TRD 4 door) so it brings back some awkward memories but it looks good otherwise!

EW MY GOD! PRE-DRILLED FOR POSTS?! jeez i hope not...

It looks like one of the better designed lexan bodies that rc4wd has sold, at least you can tell that it's a Taco.

Agree on this being a touch narrow but it does look great for a lexan body. Including some hard plastic pieces is great.

A little black paint on the grill slots in that first pic and it’s golden.

That’s a boat-load of chrome on the front end. I do dig the kit overall though. Hopefully that licensing agreement brings us an 05-11 Tacoma.

The tail lights are stickers? I am having a hard time distinguishing the moulded pieces from the stickers

Buckets. They showed the opaque stickers.

I would have much preferred a normal cab or extended, I dont know that I've ever seen this 4 door version, it just looks awful proportion wise.

But it is great to see more licensing, hopefully this leads to more tiny Toyotas in the future.

You've never seen a 4 door one before? :shock::shock::shock::shock:
They have been around for years.

Well now that I think about it I'm sure I have but 98% of the Tacomas around here are not 4 doors, I guess I was just in shock from its sheer ugliness.
