I'm lovin' the recent rigs built around the King Sling tires, especially with the lexan "beauty covers" left off the Dragon wheels.

Here we have a new body designed around them - looks like someone possibly designed a 3d-printed wheel cover as well, but there's no details on them:

Ive been out of it for a while and wow..things have changed.
I love tires I got in a trade deal a while back.. custom cut/shut plow boys with rock lizards sidewalls. they work so well...

but ive wanted some other tire to run as well and these could be it!!!! Tire measures - ~1.83”W x 5.72”H

Yep, this and the Sling King are what got me back to the hobby. Took a drive last week and rode past Dennis Anderson's place which got me searching. Came across the Mega trucks being built from the SMT.

Regarding the wheels seen in the first pic - I see an interesting future in 3d-printed wheel faces or wheel covers for beadlocks or or other wheels.

Wish there was an explanation as to either who made them, or a source for purchasing.

I'm not a very big fan of the Lexan covers included with the Dragons, kinda like them better without - but the detail on those other covers is really nice!

Edit:

AWESOME!

I dug around on Google - found this:

"The vehicle is shown using the JConcepts (#3155) Fling King tires and (#3179) Dragon wheels. The Dragon wheels have been fitted with the soon to be released Tracker wheel caps (#2668-6) in orange to compliment the body. The 2.6” wheel diameter and matching tire is the perfect compliment for any mud run, dirt track or grass field conditions.

The exceed mad torque wheels are narrow double beadlock and 2.8" in size, can even get them in 4 different colors

You would just need 17mm hubs adapters some people sell on e-bay

I used to run 1/8 buggy paddles, they are dirt cheap to buy and work better than a v tread in most mud

I watch people cut through and some times sink, while the paddles with big power just skipped right across foff style

Not sure if they are allowed in comps though?
