I'm not sure how many of you have taken notice of the new color that VP is offering now, but it really is good looking. I just got our first order of parts in with some grey pieces. I'm looking forward to seeing what else they can do with this color in the future. Here's a picture of the knuckles I just received as well as a few shots from their site showing the color.

fat chance of that...I still spend money there...

although VP is top notch for quality i too agree the pricing needs to come down some. Ex: i wouldnt mind all four corners sporting the VP brake rotors/calipers but i wont or cant see me spending 100+ on something that is souly for cosmetic purposes?

The reason you like them is because of the quality and detailed appearance.

Prices have to reflect detail.

The fact that their prices are as close to the competition as it is, is pretty impressive! U.S.A. made with real quality materials.

Save money the first time and buy another brand, then you will break or bend them and spend more then you would have if you spend a little more from the get go with VANQUISH which is the BEST and you won't have to buy another one after!

if they were cheaper they would just be cheap alum replacements like strc or hot racing.
my carpentry tools are the same way. i could go to home depot and buy some crappy dewalt tools, but i choose to buy quality tools that i wont have to replace for a very long time.

you get what you pay for.

You aren't going to get this quality without this price. VP has easily spent Millions on the equipment to manufacturer these parts and they're priced at a point that proves they have an interest in the hobby. These machines can make a whole lot more money spitting out other parts....So quit bitching and thank them for what they do for the hobby."thumbsup"

I noticed it :D

I agree on the price. The fact that they are priced as low as they are reflects the efficiency of operations and HUGE machines they have. In all honesty we are very lucky to have them producing parts for us and not just for the medical market. High quality materials, high quality work, attention to detail, and USA made. Now I only wish I could get some of that machine time and have them pop out motor parts for me!! But alas, machines are booked like 18 months out, as any quality machine shop will be.

That new gray is pretty sharp.

From a manufacturing standpoint, they look that good and are manufactured that well because of their experience making medical components. For work I do reverse engineering and 3d inspection and work with tons of medical companies. When I see their parts they are so pretty from a manufacturing standpoint. Then I see regular stuff from a standard machine shop and I don't like the quality.

They are expensive, yes. The quality is high, yes. They are made in the USA, yes. In the end it might be a little/lot more money. But if we are going to support manufacturing in the US it's worth buying.

Another project I work on is called insourcing. It's actually taking business back to the US. We've successfully done this for a lot of companies and believe it or not, it's cheaper for them to operate certain business here in the good old US of A. "thumbsup"

I gladly support this, it's my wallet that has a hard time with it

As we are able to commit to higher production runs, our pricing will automatically reflect that and it has been reflecting that, parts released this year have been very competitive to the over seas parts,

and if we make cvd's out of pig iron with lead to make machining easier, I believe our pricing would be the same or possibly less. but what would be the point, those are already being made...

Thanks for all of the support, we make a extreme efforts to pass that support to other companies also making domestic products every chance we get.

Placed my order for a bunch of the gray stuff! Can't wait to get it. Will post pictures in my build thread.

Hey, on the XR10 case, what are those specs? Is it cuttings and oil from something else or did the finish get fouled?
