New Axial XR10...Have some Q's

Whats up, Im pretty new to crawling, had a losi 1/18 scale for acouple years & used it stock. I just got my XR10 with the M2 dig & rock star 45 turn motors. Heard about the clearance issues with the terra claw motors between the links. Anyone know if these have the same issues?... Also I saw that a 2 channel transmitter can be used to activate the dig drive when using a punk dig switch. does anyone know if this is also possible with the M2 dig ESC?
