My first scale build is a SCX10 TR. I replaced the body with a Proline Abush (Scout 80 Harvester.)

I added RC4WD OEM wheels and RokLok tires.

Initial electronics upgrades were:

Traxxas FXR ESC
Spectrum receiver

Made a HUGE difference. Enough to get serious about building this TR into a scaler.

I started with the interior:

Point of no return...Hacked the interior out.

I first mocked up everything in cardboard to fit the seats around the trans and motor and allow for electronics. This was by far the most time consuming part.

Once I figured out the final patterns, I transferred then to styrene.

The final interior tub, mounted to the body using the Proline Ambush roll cage contact points, and adding a ton of rigidity to the body

I created a new bed deck out of scale diamond plate styrene to clean up the lines of the Ambush body a bit. The bed deck was designed to also use the Proline cage mounting points to minimize drill holes in the body. The end result uses only the 8 stock screws to attache the interior, body, rear bed deck and roll cage into a single strong body.

I added the dash board and cleaned up the interior. I plan to build out the entire dash and center console, but I have a scale comp coming up, so I had to simplify a bit. I used some standard dash stickers for the time being. Ill post as I add a real dash and center console.

Update: Busy weekend. I had to cut a few corners, but it's ready for tomorrow's scale comp!
