Any mini crawlers comps goin on within 40 min of Coventry? Switching to the 1/24 has totally turned every mole Hill into a mountain. Home courses, hiking, camping, biking.. So easy to throw in small pack, and just an awesome change for someone that’s been doing 1/10 for past 30 years. Highly recommend anyone reading this!

I wish we were closer. I live in New Fairfield, CT. I just got an Axial SX24. Fun little crawler. I'm hoping to find places nearby to take it and/or my TRX4 Bronco.

I'm down in Milford, lately we've been hitting up Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven. Great spot to crawl with 1/10 and the mini's. Parking is right there and you can spend hours on the rocks. Right now I have 7 1/24 rigs that are pretty fun. Like you said, anywhere can be a spot. Might toss one or two in a backpack when going hiking.

Here is a video I took and it gives a good shot of the terrain. It's one of my favorite places to go.

Wow, that spot looks great. I wish I was closer, but I'll have to make a trip to the beach sometime. All the rocks up this way are covered in leaves.

Cool video. I like the Hummer. I've never seen that setup before. Nice job.

How are the rocks so close to the beach? I imagine they can be quite slippery?

They are very grippy. We've been out using the LCG Cheater Rigs and it's pretty amazing what they do. I had a couple of my small rigs out two weeks ago there and it was great too!

These are a few of the 1/24 scale rigs

Plenty of rocks at Squantz Pond State Park , a short hike to the eastern side of the pond will produce plenty of challenging terrain.

Thanks. I'll have to look into that. It's tough finding rocks in CT that aren't covered by vegitation. I was crawling on the rocks near the shoreline at squantz when the water was down low. Now they are all submerged :(

I originally said the east side of the pond , but there is a trail on the west side of the pond . It’s a Rocky Mountain side .
