Have you looked at a bit larger drill presses?For a couple hundred bucks you could get a nice eight inch counter top drill press.

I do have one of those in the garage...but i'm too lazy to go out there Especially since it was 2 below zero the other day. haha

Just looking for a smaller unit for the basement workspace.

Personally, I would not repurpose my Dremel for anything I don't have to. I burn through them kind of quick as is, "good" ones or cheap ones.

The other two look interesting but I have no experience, sorry.

The first one is for up to 4mm drill bits I think, somehow kind of really small? 2nd one is really nice looking, almost mill like and the last is, well like someone else said. I wouldn't drill with my dremmel, they're just not made for it.

I haven’t tried any of those that are listed, but I do have something similar to this I bought from Harbor Freight a few years ago. Perfect size to sit on my shelf and it does all I need for my hobbies. The price ain’t too bad either.
