I know everyone has probably been following Richard's thread on the new RC4WD Marlin Crawler TF2 edition so Ill try to keep mine from being a total repeat. I was asked to do a review of the new truck and naturally I agreed due to my love for 1:1 Toyotas and the fact that my personal vehicles have and do run Marlin Crawler parts.

Important things you need to know about this edition:

1) Bobbed bed, yes its pre bobbed and yes its awesome

2)Gelande II front shock hoops, yup RC4WD is paying attention

3)Upgraded drive shafts, no more snapping a drive 48 seconds into driving your new scaler

4)Rad AF replica grill

5)Metal front bumper and aluminum mount

6)High clearance cross member

7) Yota II axles, BTA steering

8)Marlin Crawler stickers, because who doesnt love stickers

Here is what I am currently working on or have done

n00b inner fender wells and rad support, currently cut out and just need to paint

Bowhouse RC rear shackle mounts for improved shackle angle

RC4WD Warn winch

RC4WD LED light kit

contemplating cutting hood off, and deciding what to do with interior...also have a U bolt kit for it too.

Stay tuned

-Mike

Re: Mike builds an RC4WD Marlin Crawler TF2

Where can one find the n00b inner fenders?

The more I see this truck the more I like it.

Re: Mike builds an RC4WD Marlin Crawler TF2

Do those yota II axles have improved steering over the originals? Do they have xvds in them in stock form?

I dont recall if stock for stock the steering angle is better, what I do know is that the XVDs for the Yota II axles allow a greater steering angle over the XVDs for the Yota I.

Re: Mike builds an RC4WD Marlin Crawler TF2

Been working on the CCHand interior kit a little bit each night this week. I really do love CCHand products but the tiny screws are not that fun haha. I detailed the interior using model paint and fine point sharpie markers. The interior kit comes with an automatic looking shifter...that obviously wasnt going to cut it so I am going to scratch up some toyota shifters tonight. I flocked the seats, came out pretty good.
