Micro 6x6 anyone?

I wanna build a 1:24 deuce n a half... Before i try cutting up a pair of micro axle cases, has anyone experimented w this yet??
I know i would need to make a new input (in/out) shaft being a worm gear axle

I was working on a T-Rex 6x6, but it's been on hold because of school. I was using twin transmissions. Most people tend to modify the axle to get the extra drive. Most people also do leaf springs. I tried doing 4-link. It can be done, but the leaves make life a million times easier.
