Looks like FTX will be offering their 2n1 Hobbywing Micro FOC brushless system separately. I know the Fusion MicroPro 3000kv works just fine for rigs up to 6lbs, so this at 2200kv seems like an interesting option for people would want a lightweight powerful little motor. Just not sure if these will have the same programing parameters as the MicroPro verison...i would hope so @ $70 with the Hobbywing branded one @ $59

It doesn't make sense that HobbyWing would allow somebody to undercut them... Where are you seeing $59? Your link shows £84.99 which, according to Google's conversion rate, is $105.51 USD.

Not being undercut.

As I read his post:
Ftx 2200kv version $70

HW 3000kv version $59

Edit: though going to the link, who knows what you get since it has no info describing what they are actually selling.

I assumed that he was saying ftx had a custom micro 2-in-1 that was 2200kv, but linked info does not confirm that or anything much for me.

It is 70 euros without vat added though.

Reading it again makes more sense. He magnumbed my brain. I'm still not seeing $70 anywhere though.
