What's the difference between the "ultra bright" and "chino63" series?

Thanks

Actually quite a bit has changed:
- We've updated the ascetics of the housings to look more "scale".
- We've also standardized on M2.5 hardware with two mounting boss', one on each end of the light bar housing.
- All "Ultra-Bright" light bars use our upgraded LED strips that offer 2-3x the brightness of our "chino63" light bars.

What has stayed the same:
- All of our light bar housings are CNC machined from 6061 Aluminum, this is especially important to maintain reliability of the the new higher-power LEDs. We caution our customers to not be fooled by inexpensive plastic light bars...they will not hold up to the physical abuse and the life of the LEDs will be degraded without proper heat dissipation.
- All of our light bars are filled with clear epoxy to ensure a completely water-proof seal. We have tested our light bars to IP68 standards and have passed with flying colors. There is no other RC light bar manufacturer who can make that statement!

Is should be noted that we do have a limited selection of the "chino63" light bars that can be upgraded to the "Ultra-Bright" LEDs. We are phasing these into production as stock of the older products run out. Currently the 1" and 4" light bars are already only available in Ultra-Bright LEDs, other sizes like the 3", 4"-Dual and 4"-End Mount are soon to be released.

could i get this light with warm white led's ?

Unfortunately the Ultra-Bright LEDs are not available in a warm white color. I do have a new series of light bars coming that will be 4600K color temperature. More info coming on those in 2-3wks...

These light bars are awesome! The small enclosures and simple mounting points give them a great scale appearance. I have them connected into a HeyOK light controller, which runs directly off my 3S lipo batteries for maximum output. Recently I've been going out on night trail runs in complete darkness with the only source of light coming from these light bars. My only complaint is that I don't have one on the back of the truck for me to see where I'm walking. Thank you MadDogRC for such awesome products! "thumbsup"

My 5" super slim light is great! I was able to mount I with the original g6 brackets. Just used 2 M3 nuts as spacers on both sides.

I think I will have to get the 1" light with the fairlead bracket next, But i just have to confirm it will fit in my front bumper.

will these run straight off a receiver at 6v?

No, at that voltage they will be so dim there is no point in running them (if it turns on at all). Even at 8V, my light bar was useless in anything other than a completely dark room. 3S is where you want to be, then they are awesome.
