I am looking for scale/detailed RC pickup trucks to go with my 1/14 semi trucks, and I am coming up empty. Any suggestions?

I agree, the FMS 1/12 scale vehicles are probably closest to the proper proportions of the Tamiya semis.

The pickup choices are limited but FMS has a Toyota FJ45

FMS FJ45
That is sweet!

I forgot about FMS and I'm not sure why. I always wanted to put their Jimny on a semi trailer. Seems like it would fit in scale-wise, but I never double-checked dimensions.

Ya, this and the mn86 (fj79) and the cherokee, or the montero would scale out well!

The Jimny is equal parts stupid and fun. It has virtually no capability and no upgrade potential but driving it around just makes you smile. It would probably be perfect as traffic on those scale streets they put together for the 1/14 scale semi trucks. I had some plans to try and make the Jimny perform a little better so I would drive it more but there is always another project in the way.

I have the jimny from fms and the fj79 mn.. whatever. And the jimny is a class of its own, at least in scale and strength and quality compared to the wpl and the <$70 rigs. When it was on sale i snatched it as a take with me on trips rig. However, i burned up the esc.

Heres the little montero and the rest. Ive looked over a lot if the feedback on aliexpress and the montero looks to be the same size as the others.
Just found this amazing item on AliExpress. Check it out!

And then like every other person said, the kei truck the 1/16 version would probably work too.

AWESOME!!! Many thanks for the input, they have been spot-on for what I am looking for!!!!

Brands/trucks I have never heard of, which is why I asked. I will likely pick up the NM Cherokee, it is a small 1/12, which means it will likely look proper with my 1/14 scale semi trucks. Plus, I am wanting RCs to compliment my semi trucks, but they don't need to be great performers; sub-$100 is exactly what I am looking for. There are other companies like Lesu that do have 1/14 trucks and cars, but their prices make Vanquish prices look cheap.

Of course, even in the Tamiya 1/14 scale RCs, some of their proportions looks a little off. I just build a single axle Globetrotter, and to me the scaling seems off from my other trucks (understanding RC scaling is an "ish"). It might just be the Euro-styling I am not used to, but to me it looks more 1/12 scale. Below is a video I shot showing my semi trucks together.

Thanks again!!!
