I got a two cell 2s lipo battery for my flysky gt5 remote.
It work great for about a week then when i went to recharge it, it would not charge. The charger keeps say lower the voltage, I check the battery and cell one reads 3.1 volts and cell 2 reads .98 volts ??
when i got this battery both cells were about the same.
Anyway to fix this or is this just a crappy amazon battery?

If it’s the battery on Amazon listed as the battery for the GT5, they’re garbage. I have several of these radios so I picked up 2 of these batteries. Both charge fine the first time. Wouldn’t charge again after that, but mine both read LESS THAN 1.0v for the pack and I even unplugged them from the transmitter after I used it.

If this is a fairly new battery and it dies like that (low voltage) after a few cycles, it's junk and can't really be rehabilitated. If it happens to an old battery, it's understandable due to age and usage.

if theres a ballance port try ballance charging on the lowest setting for a nimh battery till the voltage in that one cell comes up enuff for the lipo setting to charge it if you charge it at .1 to .5 amps charging at such a low setting keeps the heat down inside the battery if it works you might need to charge it on the low settings for the next few.charges till it comes back just keep a eye on it while charging and feel it several times while charging to make sure its not to hot dont charge it in the controler use your hobby charger you might need to get creative to h9ok it up though
if it works cycle it a few times they usualy come back if there new batterys

it is a new battery
charged it once and it did not last a week, i only used the radio a few times and not that long just some test runs to see if it worked on the optima i rebuilt.
Then i put it in my trx4 and the battery was dead.
i tried charging on 1s setting and it say battery is full

you have to use the nimh setting on the charger

nimh batterys are recamended to discharge to 0 or close to it as posable so the charger will work on that setting once the second cell hits 2-3 volts switch to lipo setting and top it off

i bought 2 brand new in box 3s 5000mah lipos that were competely dead no voltage at all and i couldent return them i slow charged them and cycled them a few times as fast as i could they ended up lasting a long time one lasted 2 years in my yeti xl so it is posable to bring them back

Well I tried the nimh setting and still had an error
Then after 2 days I tried to charge the battery again
This time it charger
??? What or why did it charge this time?
