Last fall we got our first hot tub. We waited all summer for it to be build. Was worth the wait. I'm not home much so I get in it when I can. The rest of the family sits in it 3-5 times a week. We found by watching the weather reports we can adjust the temperature accordingly most times. About the only thing hard to account for is that cold winter wind. Here and there we have friends come over and hang out in it. Makes it much more fun. Taking a bottle of water to drink makes it better. Makes me wish I still went skiing than come sit in the hot tub. That's later down the road when things settle down. Kids tell us we should of got a swim spa lol.

Let's see your hot tub set ups?

That would be awesome to have that in a backyard for sure.

I've been trying to get my wife to let us ditch the pool for a hot tub for years. We can only use the pool 3 months out of the year...a HT is a year round thing. Been trying for 16 years, so far no luck!

Well OS, i was always told, its easier to ask for forgiveness than permission. Send her on a weekend getaway n suprise her when she gets home with a new hot tub lol

Now that's a big brain move  I'm usually doing this trick whenever I need a new scope or ammo from local gun store https://gritrsports.com/ :D "It's okay honey, go visit your friends over the weekend" and then she comes back to me installing a new scope

They all hate hot tubs till they actually sit in one on a cold day!

As much as I love to swim, I'm with you on the hot tub. Especially at my age. :lmao:

You should put the wife in the car and go hot tub shopping, just don't tell her where your going till you pull up yo the store. We could of had a pool for what we've spent but are kids are grown up. So the pool would get little use and would be good for only a few months of the year. We plan on cranking down the temperature all the way for summer. See how that goes. Definitely much better than a pool. Plus a pool draws attention with all the neighborhood kids and than everyone wants to come over. We'll stick to your hot tub. Wouldn't trade it for a pool.
