Anyone know of a off the shelf set of leaf springs bigger than the normal tamiya\rc4wd stuff?

I have a large F350 so I wanted to do coil in front and leaf springs in back but want something bigger and heavier than what I'm finding.

ton of old projects I need to get started on again but kinda been out of the hunt for few years.

Make your own. I made mine from an retractable electric cord reel. But any spring steel should work. Cut metal to length/width then heat 1" of each end till a soft red glow then grab a set of needle nose pliers and roll the ends in.

Might have to give it a shot, just have to find something with nearly right material to start with. The rake might end up being cheapest option new I suppose.

For my 1/6 CJ-6, I used a starter recoil spring for a B&S engine. Didn't heat the ends, just rolled them around a screw driver shaft. If you want to drill them for screws in the middle, you should use good quality and new titanium nitride bits. A little grease or oil will help with the drilling. "thumbsup"

Thanks for the tip! I know drilling spring steel can be a huge pain. I had thought before about drilling different diameter holes in piece of steel and trying to punch holes out over top of it with my dads hydraulic press.

The new beam style wiper blades for your car/truck work perfect. And they’re basically free once you replace your wipers.
