I've got the Mini Z 4Runner and love the way it can modulate and slow crawl, which is incredibly smooth for such a tiny truck. However, I've noticed that the truck will sometimes not respond when I try to get the truck to move very slowly in reverse, and I'll need to depress the reverse trigger a second time to get the truck going. I assume this is happening because I'm attempting to reverse at such a slow pace, but wasn't sure if this was normal or if other folks were experiencing this same issue. Thanks!

Nothing you're doing wrong, the reverse delay is build into the radio system. Mine does the same thing. "thumbsup"

Good to know and thanks for the reply! Now I'm on eyeing one of the Mini Z Jeeps - just gotta decide on the color. I like the look of the gray metallic, but the white has great contrast with the black top and tinted windows. Good to have options!

I wish you could program the delay out, it is very irritating. with so my people upgrading their SCX24 electronics I wanna score a transmitter, receiver/esc and servo so I can cover to standard electronics. I saw some 3D printed parts needed to do the swap easily

Had the same problem initially. I think it's designed to brake when the throttle is triggered recently(maybe within 500ms), and only do reverse on the second depress while braking. It's more obvious when the lights are attached. The tail lights will become brighter while braking.
