During the winter break of our local rally league I was looking for a second hand chassis that could be converted into a rally car and I found a pretty decent Xray T2R Pro.

I spent couple of months planning, designing, ordering and waiting and now I'm finally able to drive and show You my project.

What You can see are some custom parts made of G10 fiber-epoxy composite:
- chassis bottom plate integrated with sidewalls to create a bathtub-like platform
- front and rear differential covers
- two-part, adjustable shock towers
and a waterproof fabric top cover.
Dampers come from Tamiya WR-02- Tamiya #54670

Wow great conversion! Looks pretty well sealed for the larger pebbled and possibly sand. Ride height looks about right. As a TC chassis it should make for some excellent adjustments. Comic dust cover wrap is excellent!!!

Super cool

11 out of 10 points for that cover! You've had to spend all long winter nights building it. Amazing attention to details...

Nice looking rally with ingenious cover, light weight and easier to build use than if you used all plastic sheet to cover it up.
