RC4WD King of Florida TTC 2017

It's back again! The annual King of Florida is here to test your truck to it's limit, so prepare for the toughest courses, steepest hills, baddest mud, and more!

This year we moved to a local 1:1 offroad park to create some of the baddest courses in Florida. The courses will include: Hill Climb, Tank Trap, Mini Rubicon, Mud Pit & Sled/weight pull.

We will be following Sorrca ruling for all penalties. (2016 or 2017 if they have been posted) SORRCA.com

Your truck will be required to have a minimum of 25 scale points, but they will not be deducted from your final score. This is to keep the trucks realistic and have your driving prove itself worthy of the crown, King of Florida!

All courses except the mud pit and sled pull will have a 6 minute time limit. The mud pit and sled pull will be scored furthest distance.

Trophies and prizes will be given out Sunday after all scores are tallied.

February 25th & 26th

Tickets will be $35 per class.
Per the park, anyone over the age of 7 that is not running a truck in the event will have a $5 gate fee.
There is on site camping available and a food truck will be there for refreshments and grub.

I have personally had nothing but a great experience ordering from our next sponsor, Goat Hobbies aka Leonardo Medina! They have a vast inventory and fast shipping! Check them out on facebook or at Cool Toys Corp. Of course, if you are in the Ft. Lauderdale/Planation area, stop on by and check them out in person.

Any word on the mud? Will it be puddle splashing or a bottomless sticky mudslinging time?

It will stick 1:1 trucks on 44s.. but the run will be set up near the edge so your truck wont disappear. LOL

Expect it realistic to the Four Wheeler magazine's TTC Mud Pit.

Boca bearings has jumped on board for our #RC4WD King of Florida TTC! Keep an I out for more sponsors and updates in the following weeks. I for one cant wait to see everyone and their rigs!

Sweet this goes on when I'm down for my Daytona 500 trip! Grew up in Orlando but moved to the tundra of Minnesota 8 years ago. Not gonna have my rig along but I'll pay $5 to watch people play with tiny trucks!

Re: RC4WD King of Florida TTC 2017

Awesome event guys. I was only able to stick around until noon due to prior obligations plus this Minnesota boy isn't used to this heat and humidity anymore (yes, I know it gets much worse I lived down here for 20+ years.) Would have loved to see some of those rigs in the mud. Good luck on the rest of the comp and I'll be looking forward to seeing pics from this afternoon and tomorrow
