KCRC - Kansas City Remote Crawlers -

Oh I'll still be a newb, lol just a 1 run newb. nice thing about these comp places is, grab a bunch of old tennis balls and make your own trail anytime ya feel like it.

DAMN IT!!

I killed another BEC. I think this 7950 is eating 10 amp BECs. Ive switched over to my 8711 in my XR10, but here I go shelling out more money on BECs. does anyone make a better unit? Im getting sick of buying these things. I think these castle ones might be junk. That or I have a defective servo that is puling way too much juice. It browning out my ESC and Rx at full lock.

Aaron, I would think that it would be something other than the BEC.

Wow, i was messing around in my backyard to day with my scaler, when suddenly my Holmes Hobbies motor burst into flames... Nothing was damaged or ever got hot enough to destroy anything, but now im wondering what to do with the motor now.

Yeah, I'm just looking to get the wheels in more. those are fairly costly, but they look like the right size. I may just get some TLT's. Kinda wanted something less bulky, ya know.

IDK, but I intend to find out in the near future.

After I finish the 57 and the 6x6, I want to build something w/ MRC axles."thumbsup"

You comp guys punish the MRC axles pretty heavily don't you?

Yeah but with 3lb truck max. A MRC axle would need to be beefed up good. I have always been disappointed with the MRC's.

Yeah, the comp rigs are pretty light, but you guys run a ton of power in them as well? 3S and hot motors? W/ HD lockers, aluminum Chubs and knucks, I think(hope:ror:) they should be ok.

What's the weight difference between a pair of AX and mrc axles?
1.5s or 1.9s?
ax or mrc trans?

I would think it would work fine with mrc parts (light weight) with all the goodys and a small tire ...3.75" or smaller???
Shim the r/p real tight and carry extra cvds, although I haven't seen where anyones complained about breakage in a looong time, but a scaler still gona weigh more than a comp rig

What kind of power? ...crazy fast wheel speed or puttin around getting your scale on?
