KCRC - Kansas City Remote Crawlers -

okay i will start looking into my tire options, seems like a lot of guys like the losi boss claws so i was thinking about trying them out, but since i've never driven a crawler i'm sure i wouldn't know the difference LOL

Boss Claws are shorter. Stick with what the locals use. Sedonas are a great choice. Rovers are next best. If youre going to go the XR10 route make sure you look in the XR10 forum and check out all the stuff you need to make it a nice reliable rig.

I've been running Boss Claws all year for the most part. They have been working better than any other tire I have ran around here.

sweet, thanks guys. i've done nothing but read up on the XR10 this week, including harley's write up which helped me out a lot in making my ever growing list of things to order if i can't find it used lol

see you guys tomorrow!

Not that I advocate drinking and driving.......but watch your lips.

Thier will be check points all over the metro this weekend.

You might wanna just get it and get it running before you go crazy with "hop ups". Get your feet wet and make sure its for you 1st. I do find myself scouting around the neighborhood for rocky drainage area and such to play in,lol construction areas etc....
A guy down the street thought I was nuts cause I was spraying round up in a 30 x 15 drainage area at the bottom of our street, where the grass drainage turns into stone right before it goes under the street. Its full of large stones to cut down erosion and a fun place to crawl in. But it was getting full of really big weeds so I had to keep it cleared out , ya know?

haha yeah i'm already trying to plan out some places to go crawling at.

and i'm not going to go crazy with the upgrades, only the necessary ones like RC4wd gears in the rear, vanquish bushings in both trans cases, and that'll probably be all i do at first just to get it going and make sure it's still reliable
