Time for a new build. I've just sold a Yeti and I'll be using its motor/esc and a few parts from a previous 1.9 build.

Chassis
I was a bit against the idea of a CF out of scale chassis but after seeing the Y-Town new scale chassis at RCX I was conviced, I want this truck light, ordered it along with a CF motor plate and aluminium links.

Axles
Ottsix TK0s with VVDs, VP 8° c-hubs/knuckles, lockout and Ti rear shafts
I haven't buy any Beeftubes yet but they will definitely be needed.
I'm not sure if I should use brass or aluminium. I also have BM front knuckle weights.

Transmission
MIP driveshaft, VP case, RRP gears and slipper. Got all of this from the previous build. I've ordered a LURC locker and will use a Delrin 32p spur.
Should I go back to a plastic case? Will also use the Y-Town CF plate

Motor and ESC
I have a BL 540 XL 3500 Kv and a MMPro, completely overkill and overweight.
I will go for a 3300 Kv Stubby when money allow it, is it a good choice for a little bit of speed?

Tires, inner foams and rims
For now I'm using some Pit Bull Rock Beast, CI foams and LURC wheels.
The plan is to get some KLRs but I'd like some light rims as well, are the Axial plastic rims any good? Wish CI made their rim in 1.9 flavor.

Body is cut, axles built, will post pic tomorrow.

Thanks for the help.

First mock-up with the chassis, will have to send it back, some mounting holes don't match the crosss members, WB is way too long. Will also have to ditch the XL motor for a Standard, upper link, passenger side doesn't fit as well (will shave a bit of weight as well).

First shakedown in Trona Pinnacles yesterday.
Just had 2S batteries on hand, but it was the perfect power to fly over those rocks. Suspensions needs a bit of tuning but no constant flip over, might go for some Gmade aeration shocks from now.
