Issue with Power Shift RC Light Kit - Contact info?

I just received 4 items from Power shift RC as follows:

1. A 3s balance port to jst plugs with 4 male connectors
2. An Axial SCX III Jeep Wrangler JL O.E.M Light Kit with a female connector
3. A PST 2 position switch with a male connector
4. A 5.5 inch light bar with a male connector.

Unless I'm wrong, items 3 and 4 should have had female connectors and I do not see any way to contact Powershift RC.

Any help is appreciated.

well to start, all items you ordered came with what was in their respective pictures on the website. the first two items are correct as you have said. however the pst 2 position switch is also correct. i dont know why you bought both that and the 3s balance port harness. the 2 position switch plugs into the receiver 3rd channel and then feeds the lights power. the male on the switch plugs right into the female of the 10.3 light kit. or you can run the balance connectors and plug the light kit in. either way, I agree the lightbar should have a female connector. but the switch is correct in how it is wired, and the lightbar is technically correct due to the website listing.

^^ This right here ^^

It looks like you wanted the headlight / tail light setup with light bar that plugs into your balance port. If you wanted to also control the lights on / off with that switch you bought I don't see how you would make it work plug and play with what is available on the site.

What you would want if using that 2 position switch is to have all of your lights wired to one JST Male end that plugs into your receiver. I know he makes everything to order. I am sure if you send him a message explaining what you want he can get you going in the right direction.

I had reached out to him on FB with a few questions to make sure I ordered what I needed correctly as I was not sure either.

Just remember he is a one man operation. He is responsive, but he is the only one. If you don't get an immediate reply, don't worry. He also has a full time job as well.

Thank you all. I will be reaching out on FB and report back with the solution.

Yep. I see now that was kind of a noob move. I did want transmitter control and therefore the 3s balance port connector was not needed. Anyway, I cut spliced, soldered and heat shrinked the light bar and vehicle lights to the 3 position switch, plugged into my receiver and all works as intended.

Thanks you all for taking the time to respond.

"thumbsup""thumbsup""thumbsup"

I did not fully think mine through either at first. I got the remote light controller then realized I needed to solder it between the balance port plug and the junction of the JST plugs so that it would operate the rock lights and vehicle lights all at the same time.

I am glad you have soldering experience and got it setup for the way you want to use them. "thumbsup"
