i have a novak goat and i have alot o little 3s packs. so i was wondering if there was a trick that might let me run a 3s lipo on a 2s ESC??

A trick to make a 3 cell LIPO run at 7.4V...don't think so. Some run it anyways....some ESCs can actually run with the higher voltage for some time before burning up.

Get yourself a Holmes Hobbies BR-XL you can run 3s on it.......TWICE (it can handle 6s)

And its right at $100!

Are you on crack?

Noice dude noice...:lmao:

Constantmotion is right thought there is no easy way to do it i know of, but you might be able to get away with it if you keep the turns on the motor high enough. Even then you would probably be on borrowed time.

Best thing to do is sell the Novak and get something that can handle the extra juice.

I've also heard about people doing this with high turn motors, I just wonder how long . I'd like to do the same thing with my Rooster T12 running a 35 turn motor, but I don't want the "magic smoke" to escape :lmao:.

Or just get a firm grip on ya balls, take a deep breath, and just plug that sucker in there! :ror: I've been runnin' a Rooster on 3S for 18 months, it hasn't smoked....... yet! :flipoff:

Cheers.
