Hi everyone this is my first build ever! i bought my scx10 off of ebay, and its sort of a fixer upper, it came with a k5 blazer body that someone really hacked up but now ive got a whole new plan for it. Ive mounted a SS Intimidor silverado body on my chassis, made a drop bed for it out of hobby aluminum, bed lined it, and made a set of stacks for it. My intenions for this truck is to be a tow rig, my next weekend project will be making a gooseneck trailer for it. Comments, questions, and input on what i should do to the truck next are greatly appreciated! im just looking for new ideas! I will post pictues following this posts

The SS body is a nice one. Look forward to checking it out when the pics are up.
The gooseneck will be cool, haven't seen many of those

3rd project is to make a Rock Crawler to tow too right?!"thumbsup"

Edit: welcome to the SCX section!

Thanks, and yeah that is my plan! Hopefully ill get a good start on the gooseneck tomorrow, and ive got my eye out for another scx10

Im using the stock scx-10 beadlocks with 1.9 RC4WD outcroppers on the silverado, I love the out croppers because they look like the mud grapplers that I have on my 1/1 Truck, and on my gooseneck im using a set I found on ebay that were off of a cheap rc toy

The stacks are made out of electrical conduit, I beveled them and glued them in. Conduit is way cheaper than the ones for sale on the internet!

I just got done 4 linking the scx10, front and rear, doing a chassis mounted servo, and lowering the body closer to the frame ill post more pics tonight

Heres some pictures ive taken in the last few days of the 4 linked front and rear, chassis mounted servo, and lowered body. Lowering the body makes my gooseneck sag, but my next project will be making a 5th wheel hitch or a gooseneck ball

I like the gooseneck, looks good on the back of the truck, now just need a trail truck strapped to it. Nice looking Silverado too!

Welcome to rccrawler! What are your plans for the rock crawler that's going on the trailer?

Looks like you need some stiffer springs in the rear. That is an awesome set up. I have been trying to find that silverado for months now that thing looks sweet as a scaler.

Thanks! my plans for a crawler to tow around is another 4 linked scx10, I just bought a clodbuster body with the chevy grill on ebay for a really good price, so right now im in the process of restoring it, The clod body has really taken a beating since 1987 when it was made. but hopefully in the next few months ill have another rig to mess around with. I need to look and see what kind of rear suspension upgrades i can find to beef it up to handle that heavy trailer, i found my intimidator ss body on ebay too they are really hard to get ahold of
