Here's another project that I did recently. After getting a Utron on the pre-sale and, loving the way the IFS2 performed, I decided to build a 4 wheel independent suspension rig using 2 of them. So, I picked up another Utron as the starting point for the build. So, I started piecing together another IFS2 (before it was available separately). After mocking it up on the stock chassis I knew I'd have to shorten it and, I didn't like the big gap between the rails and the top of the skid. So, I designed my own which is just the front half mirrored and, had my laser department cut me some new ones. The way I did it, the wheelbase came out to 11.8" which is the same as the Bushido but, I didn't like how big it is so, I picked up a Team C Samurai body for it. Also went with some Amazon wheels and, Pit Bull Braven Berserkers. So, on to the pics. :)

Boom, built, done. Was this a one day build?

Okay, this is rather fascinating. How is your weight distribution with the battery in it? Like a twin tip, almost looks like you could bond together two truck cabs and make it look perfectly symmetrical and equally drive it that way.

Awesome. Nice build. I'm about to start one with the SMS Rockalope chassis.

Good choice. I like the way he added holes for tube work if you want.

No. LOL
I just didn't get around to posting it on here during the process. Had several projects going on at the same time.

That's awesome! That project's been on my mind for a while, curious to hear how it performs.

Does pretty good for a shorter wheelbase rig. The 4 wheel steering helps. Plus, it does GREAT donuts. LMAO

Haven't really checked the weight bias. I need to get a 4 corner scale system one of these days. I'd guess it's pretty even with the motor in front and, the battery out back. I've actually thought of building a double ended body as a joke. :D I'm sure you can guess what I'd call it. LOL
