It says in the manual to use a compressor, but I don't have one! I have WD-40 and water repelling spray for my bike.

Any tips on the matter?

Ain't that thing waterproof?

Shower with it.
Nail it with the hose.
Leave it high and dry.

The Summit isn't "waterproof" or at least I know that the micro servos aren't waterproof BUT it IS water resistant. I've just hosed my Summit off and since you don't have a compressor just turn it upside down and let it dry off for a while.

I washed mine with water hose. Just dry it well afterwards, and maybe spray some WD40 when it's all dried out. Anyhow nothing should happen to it.

I use a stiff bristle paint brush to get the most of the grime off and usually leave it at that but you can hose it off if you feel the need to. Just keep in mind that these are water RESISTANT not submarines....let it dry really well before running it again and you should be fine. I have 2 Summits and havent had a problem yet doing this"thumbsup"

ask your wife, girlfriend, hell if you don't have both ask your mom to take it in the shower with her and she'll get that sucker clean"thumbsup"

I put my old Hellfire in the dishwasher once, minus electronics and engine of course. My wife was maaaaaaaadddddd. It was REALLY clean though, that Pots and Pans setting will do the trick!
