i just installed one of those on my son base camp rtr and wow, this thing is on another level....

Creep is awesome, good power, compact and clean setup.

Programming can be done with my program card.

Honestly for the price, i wont even bother to look anywhere else, this cant be beat.

Thinking of installing one on my phoenix now to replace my 1080/crawlmaster sport setup that i tought was so good....

The old 1080 and Crawlmaster combo will always be good and fun to play with. It requires more throttle work under touchy situations but that's the fun part of it also.

I think anything FOC today is solid and scale crawling is easily achieved.

Hobbywing really did the hobby right with the fusion line.

I’m still a fan of the 1080/Crawlmaster combo, but the fusions do have them beat for pure low end control.

And certain rigs really benefit from the small footprint of a 2in1

100% agree.

The 1080/Crawlmaster combo is still a solid option and i really like my setup in the phoenix.

But wow, for such little price difference i could hardly justify going that route again on my next build knowing how good the Fusion is....

The SE is an awesome, programable, controllable, innovative, compact, and most importantly affordable. I have one of the 1800s and one of 2300s stashed away for suited builds but I been using one of the 1200s that made its way to a 3link straight axle Capra that still using the stock transmission with the 10t pinion that creeps amazingly ****yes stock transmission :ror: with straight axle *** and Its got enough punch to fly over between rocks and ledges. The 1080 is great I have more than I can count with one hand for sure but the RANGE of control and power band that the FOC/SE provides for the price is far superior.

I would imagine that once that I test out the PRo 2300 I will likely not look back to get any new 1080's .
Granted I don't have one of the fancy Holmes motors that cost almost as much as the PRo maybe someone with experience on one of those with the 1080 can justify the cost. Is it good?

I just installed this motor in my Cherokee build and it was definitely easy to install and set up and as you mentioned a pretty good price even here in Canada. I can't wait to get it out on the trails and see how well it works. :)

Where abouts in Canada are you located?
