I'm think about picking up a hobbywing system for my Element. The 550 version, but I'm not sure if it should be the 3300kv or 2700kv. I plan to gear down as far as possible. Don't need that much more speed. Just want as smooth as possible crawling speed and lots of torque. I was originally thinking about the Revolver 1800kv and a SW4, but they are not easily available in my country.
I already got an Axe 540 2300kv in my Gen8 and I like it quite a bit, but I kinda want something even stronger. Should I go for the 3300 or 2700 version?

I have the 3300 in mine. It crawls like a champ when I drive it with the throttle trim. Strongly recommend it and no need to give up wheel speed.

What gearing are you running on it? Kinda forgot I will need a new 5mm pinion as I also noticed the Element seems to be 48P.

I just stuck a 3100 Tekin in mine with the same 18t pinion. It’s faster but works well.
